Responsibilities

Responsibilities: 

As a Desk Officer you will undertake a pivotal role in safeguarding personnel and operations by diligently overseeing various security measures within the SOCCENT environment. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring, analysis, and management of data and information to ensure comprehensive protection across multiple security dimensions. 

 

Job Duties Include (but not limited to):  

  • Responsible for monitoring data and information pertaining to physical security, operational security, security classification, and other control mechanisms to protect and mitigate risks to personnel and operations in accordance with EO 12333, CCR 380-1, DOD Manual 5240.01, AR 380-5. 
  • Support the full spectrum of operational and administrative intelligence products, including Counterintelligence Reviews, Damage Assessments, Production Reviews, Lead Generation Packets, Intelligence Support Packets, and Targeting Packets. Ensure the timeliness, responsiveness, accuracy, and effectiveness of operational and intelligence reporting. 
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite Applications and Adobe Acrobat to support operations. 

 

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience: 

 

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience within the Department of Defense (DoD) Intelligence Community or equivalent government agencies in a related field. 
  • 5 years: General years of Area of Responsibility (AOR) or Special Operations Forces (SOF) experience.

  • Extensive experience using information databases such as HUMINT Online Tasking and Reporting, GCOMS, G2G, CRATE, and CHROME. 
  • Expertise in the Intelligence Cycle, HUMINT Targeting Cycle, High-Value Individual (HVI) Targeting, Human Factors Analysis, Human Terrain Analysis, Social Network Analysis, and Patterns of Life Analysis. 
  • Strong knowledge and comprehensive understanding of HUMINT theory, doctrine, rules, regulations, directives, systems, concepts, methodologies, and applicable skills related to HUMINT analysis and operations. 
  • Due to US Government Contract Requirements, only US Citizens are eligible for this role. 

 

Education & Certifications: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree  

 

Security Clearance: 

 

  • An active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a Poly is required
